Another Year Wiser…

30 before 30 on @SavvyHome

That’s how you have to look at it past a certain age right? I turn 29 today. Eeek! Only one year before the big 3-0. I’m strangely OK with it. As I’m approaching the end of my twenties, I look back at how much I’ve achieved, the friends I’ve made, who I’ve become, what I’ve experienced, what lessons I’ve learned… And it makes me proud and happy to be me. Sure there’s been struggles, hustles and mistakes along the way, but overall I’m satisfied about what I’ve achieved in the past 9 years and most importantly, I’m excited for the next chapter!

Since I have one year left of my twenties, I thought I’d be a great time to make the most of it, and write down my 30 before 30 list. I couldn’t actually narrow it down to 30 things, so I have a bit of leeway with the list below. Cheers to 29!

Move to New York. There I said it.

Become trilingual. Learn conversational Spanish.

Play tennis three times a week for a month.

Say yes to everything for an entire week.

Go one month without shopping.

Volunteer for a great cause.

Read one book a month. Minimum.

Completely unplug for a week.

Take a family vacation.

Find a workout buddy to step up my routine.

Donate to a Kickstarter campaign.

See a Broadway play (never did)!

Jump into the water/ocean from 10m up at least.

 Walk the Brooklyn Bridge.

Find a mentor.

Get a client project published.

Try 3 new hotels on my list. At least.

Repel off a cliff.

Have breakfast in bed.

Walk 10,000 steps a day for a week.

Host a cocktail / dinner / game night at my place.

Travel to Los Angeles.

Edit my wardrobe / hire a stylist.

Cook a full breakfast for myself, just cause.

What’s on your 30 before 30 list?

Happy, happy, birthday darling! I actually turned 30 yesterday and I, too, am totally 100% okay with it! Cannot wait to see you knock off the last few things on your bucket list

Ahhhh we’re almost birthday sisters! No wonder we get along 🙂 Happy belated darling!

Good luck with your goals and happy birthday! I’m turning 29 next April and I have a nice big list fun goals to hit before 30. I’m really enjoying making my way through them. One of them is to visit 30 new places and another is to do 30 DIY projects – I’m not someone who normally does much diy. 🙂

I applaud you for trying 30 DIYs!! I could probably barely finish one… I actually want to refinish my wishbone chairs… Maybe I could add that DIY to my list! Good luck with checking off all those goals!

First of all, happy belated birthday! Since I am already 3 years in the 30s club, I am not sure if i am still allowed to joint hat list, haha, but still I would agree to almost everything on yours. Getting out of the comfort zone, travel and make real plans out of daydreams, that´s what life is all about, I guess!
    Have a great one, xo

Thanks Martina! And yes, you should totally write a list! Make it 35 under 35! xo

Happy birthday!!! I turned 40 this summer and have never felt more bad ass. Fun list. I’d definitely put a bunch of those on mine too. Xoxo

Thank you Carrie! I can only hope to feel more and more bad ass every year 🙂 xo

Happy Birthday!! 29 will be amazing!

p.s. I am going to go ahead and guess that you are actually already planning a move to New York and that’s why you didn’t do the ORC. At least a girl can hope that’s the case! 😉

      ;);););) Thank you! Stay tuned!
