The space was designed by Sydney interior design firm Arent & Pyke, in a conscious effort to make it feel like a home away from home.
A few days ago I wrote a MyDomaine story about the Alex Hotel in Perth, Australia. I have only visited Perth once in 2009, and although I could feel the pulse of a city that was on the brink of a big real estate boom (Perth’s economy is doing very well due to the mining industry in Western Australia), I could not have foreseen a place quite this cool.
This place looks like it belongs in New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Buenos Aires all at once. It’s edgy, colorful, bright and utterly cool. I’m particularly fond of the mix of pinks and green tones and the exquisite choice of lighting. See the rest of the tour on MyDomaine.
