I don’t know if it’s the impending holidays, the cold weather, or my new burgundy manicure, but I’m loving the look of deep dark reds these days, especially when paired with light and dark grays, shades of pink, and warm wood tones. Something about this color palette feels very cozy like you’d just want to curl up by a fireplace and drink a bottle of red—which is exactly what I plan on doing as soon as Friday hits.
There’s something so chic about good cozy neutrals—a cashmere scarf, knit turtleneck or a wool coat. Every winter, I revert back to black (my neutral of choice), but sometimes I want to branch out—camels, grays, ash tones. Now that Black Friday is right around the corner, I’m adding all of these to my cart—the sneakers and coat in particular—and adding the wireless headphones to my Christmas wish list. What’s on yours?
I’m loving autumn colors lately: ochre, marigold, camel and a healthy dose of navy and black. There’s something so chic about an all monochrome outfit with just a touch of camel or rust—like these stunning Lizzie Fortunato earrings. Ever since the weather has gotten colder, I’ve been living in short black dresses with black stockings and over the knee boots or heeled booties, topped with a long wool coat. It’s supremely comfortable and warm and goes from day to night in an instant. What’s your fall uniform this year?
