Winter is often synonymous with cozy nights in: warm velvet chairs, faux fur; warm sweaters… As we collectively go into hibernation mode, we start craving soft textures (or is that just me). We trade linen for velvet, cotton for wool, seersucker for fur (of the faux variety)… And what better to complement everything soft than the patent of shiny leather loafers: pitch black or even better, tortoise shell. A glimpse of sophistication in this otherwise blanket of comfort that could only be synonymous with a Friday night wrapped in a snuggie watching Mind of a Chef while eating a bowl of homemade chili. Anyone with me?
