“It was very important for me to find a situation that felt unique.”
It’s quite unusual to have a bedroom with a view of your dining room and kitchen, but that’s exactly what Event Designer David Stark was looking for when he stumbled upon this Brooklyn Heights loft with husband, artist Migguel Anggelo. He wanted a space that felt unique, and it took the help of the design-build team at MADE to turn his vision into a reality.
Though small, the kitchen feels exactly like what you would want from a chef’s kitchen: plenty of storage, and a large communal kitchen island. The living room is expansive and bright. The hallway is dark and dramatic. Each space in the converted loft plays exactly the role it needs to create a dynamic home full of unexpected moments.
