Point Yamu overlooks the Andaman Sea and the dramatic limestones of Phang Nga Bay, Thailand
Let’s just pretend for a second that we’re all frolicking around in faraway Thailand—because that’s exactly what my girl Jacquelyn is doing right this second, and she asked me to fill in while she was away. So naturally I set out to find her the perfect place to go sip a cocktail.
Enter Point Yamu: moroccan tiled floors, giant wicker chandeliers, black and white stripes, dip-dyed tree trunks and sweeping views… The interiors are by Italian designer Paola Navone—which you may remember from her collections for Crate & Barrel and Anthropologie. I don’t know about you, but I’d order a Singapore Sling (not Thai, I know, but still delicious). Who’s with me?
