2014 is quickly wrapping up. By now the streets are filled with twinkling Christmas lights and the white snow is sparkling under the sun. There are presents to wrap and New Years Eve plans to make. There are party outfits to buy and resolutions to write down… During this crazy time of the year, it’s nice to slow down and reflect on the year that’s passed—the good and bad. I can easily say that I’ve had a great year: I traveled a lot, met incredible people along the way and tremendously grew both personally and professionally. Business ownership is a steep learning curve and it’s easy to get knocked down by the daily hurdles—but reflecting back on a year’s worth of progress makes me proud of how far I’ve come, and excited for what’s to come in 2015 (2015!?).
But for now, I’m ready to wrap up the year and celebrate in style before taking a 10 day breather around Christmas and New Year’s Eve to hit the reset button—in order to celebrate, I’ll need a few good party outfits. I’m not a very glitz & glam person—but every year when December rolls around, I’m craving sparkles, bright red lips, lace and fur. Just the right amount of shine to brighten up the shortest days of the year. This year, on top of the glitz and glam, I’ve got a soft spot for all things feathers, shearling, printed calf skin, mongolian lamb wool. What about you?
