I’m excited to announce my first post as a Martha Stewart Contributor! When the Martha Stewart team asked me to write for their website, I (nearly had a heart attack) knew I had to find a home tour worthy of the Martha Stewart caliber. I also wanted it to have the distinct aesthetic found in Savvy Home house tours—so I turned to Homepolish‘s endless gallery of projects.
Kelly Oxford’s Los Angeles house was an obvious choice. The mid-century Palm Springs inspired house tugs at my heartstrings for obvious reasons: aside from the fact that Oxford and I share the same bar stools (remember the One Room Challenge reveal?), I just love the brightness and boldness of the space; and the quirky accents layered throughout. A few favorites: the Bludot Strut console, the dining room chairs and the show-stopping triptych by Ben Medansky.
Oxford’s house was designed by Orlando Soria, West Coast Creative Director at Homepolish, who oversees many of Homepolish’s bigger projects and celebrity clients on the West Coast. With over 600k Twitter followers and one New York Times bestseller, you can safely assume that Kelly Oxford falls into the latter category. This speaks highly of Homepolish’s increasingly stellar portfolio of clients, ranging from big names like Leandra Medine and Rumi Neely, to anyone in need of a little decorating help. With over 250 designers (and counting) under their belt, you can only expect more great things from Homepolish in the future!
