My favorite concept store The Line opened up shop in the Hamptons. Located on Main Street in quiet Amagansett, the store is set in a charming 1720 clapboard house. The interior is far from what you’d expect from a traditional small town shop though—The Line has all the sophistication and refinement it’s known for, in a relaxed beach setting. This shop follows the New York, and Los Angeles Apartments, and is open as a pop-up for the summer (and hopefully much longer).
I visited the store over Memorial Day weekend. The painted white porch is adorned with leafy palms, and a light blue ceiling You are greeted with a gorgeous pair of pink Pierre Jeanneret chairs as you walk in—the massive walk-in closet The Line is known for takes over the line of sight. The whole place is drenched in sunlight. Needless to say I wanted to buy every single item. My favorite shop, in my favorite town—this may just be my version of heaven.
